A simple guide to cook your steak based on 8oz,so please adjust accordingly to the size of steak you choose to purchase and to your prefrence to doneness.
Season generously, brush with oil and griddle or fry in a hot pan for 3-4 mins per side for medium-rare. For well done, turn the heat down and cook for a couple more mins. Let them rest somewhere warm in its juices for at least 5 mins before serving, the longer rest, the better for rump steak as its a more worked mucle group.
